Naoki Takada received the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Kobe University, Japan, in 1995 and 1998, respectively. In January 1999, he joined the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory at the Agency of Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In April 2000, he joined the National Institute for Resources and Environment at AIST, Japan. He is currently a Chief Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. His research interests include computational fluid dynamics, phase-field modeling, lattice Boltzmann method, multiphase flow dynamics, and microfluidics.
