I am a PhD student performing research at CERECAM at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. I am interested in both computational and experimental modelling of biological systems to determine how they react mechanically with their native environments, as well as how these models might be applied in clinical environments for the prediction and prevention of disease. As a result, I have developed a strong interest in computational modelling of vascular systems for clinical applications. This is reflected in my current research which involves CFD, computational modelling, PIV (particle-image-velocimetry), and flow visualization.
