Cécile Oliver-Leblond is an associate professor at the École Normale Supérieure Paris Saclay. She does her research at the Laboratoire de Mécanique et Technologie (LMT : http://lmt.ens-paris-saclay.fr/version-anglaise/) where she works on the numerical development of a beam-particle code to model cracking of cementitious materials. Thus, her interests revolve around the fracture behavior of quasi-brittle materials, whether under mechanical, thermal or hydric loading. The coupling between discrete fracture models and damage models is an important point of her research and the subject of her presentation at the WCCM-ECCOMAS 2020 congress. In addition to this, she is an active member of the organization of this virtual congress.
